Karen Blauvelt Lisko, age 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 17, 2023, at Northside Hospital in Canton Georgia. She was born May 3, 1961, in White Plains, New York. She was a graduate of Fox Lane High School. Her hobbies included playing softball, playing in the local fife and drum corps, pit crew team for stock car racing, and earned many accolades in Karate. She worked as a payroll specialist for most of her career. She married the love of her life, Steve Lisko, on February 23, 2007, in Tampa Florida.
Karen loved her family and friends. She moved to Georgia in 2020 to be close to family. She enjoyed following friends and family on Facebook and keeping up with the many sporting events and activities of her great nephews and step grandchildren. She was fun loving with a big smile and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Along with her parents, Raymond and Hazel Blauvelt, she was preceded in death by her late husband Steven Lisko and her brother Bruce Blauvelt.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Linda Dellaero and brother-in-law Ray Dellaero of Canton, GA, Sister-in-law MaryAnn Blauvelt, of Wedowee, AL, Niece and Nephews Paul and Amy Dellaero and Great Nephews, Gavin, Brayden, and Kameron of Canton, GA, Jason Dellaero of Buffalo NY, Stepchildren Brian and Melissa Lisko of Addison, VT and Lisa and Eric LeDuc of Westbrook ME, as well as 4 step grandchildren - Reece, Keegan, Evelyn and Chase.
Visitation and a Memorial to celebrate the life of Karen Lisko will be at Poole Funeral Home on Friday September 22, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. 1970 Eagle Drive Woodstock, GA 30189
