Karen Sue Looker, 86, Bristol, died peacefully at home, September 11, 2025.

She was born June 11, 1939 in Goshen, to Everett and Thelma (Prough) Campbell.

On June 27, 1961 she married James Looker in Goshen.

She is survived by her loving husband, and 4 children. Chuck (Amy) Looker of Goshen, Tony (Jennifer) Looker of Bristol, Eric (Amanda) Looker of Goshen and Priscilla (Greg) Detwiller, of Middlebury, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Campbell.

A graduate of Goshen High School she was the office manager and also served as a cashier at Everetts Grocery both the uptown and Linway locations for 26 years before retiring.

Karen found great joy in traveling in her motor home and cheering on her beloved Cincinnati Reds. For nearly two decades, she and Jim spent their winters in Gulf Shores, Alabama, where they formed lifelong friendships. She deeply cherished time with her family-whether gathered around the card table, playing dominoes, or simply enjoying each other's company. Karen was a devoted supporter of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, rarely missing a chance to attend their sporting events and activities. She and Jim, were proud charter members of Jefferson Brethren Church and that was established in 1970.

A celebration of life will be held at the Jefferson Community Church on September 28th at 1 p.m.

Memorial gifts may be directed to Jefferson Brethren Church Children's Department.
