Robert Kenneth Looker of Boonton, NJ passed away at his home on Friday, August 13, 2025. He was 86 years old.
Robert was born in March 1939 in Doylestown, PA to Edmund and Geraldine (Cane) Looker. He graduated from Boonton High School. Robert worked for RFL Industries in Boonton Twp for 25 years, Tenny Engineering in Union for 10 years and NJ Motor Vehicle Commission as a vehicle safety inspector at their Randolph hub before retiring
In his spare time, Robert enjoyed fresh air on the golf course or catching fish. He devoted time to his community on the Board of Aldermen for 25 years and through the Boonton Volunteer Fire Department as the Fire Commissioner. Robert also served on the Board of Education and on the Health Department.
Robert is survived by his son, Scot Looker of Boonton; his grandchildren, Andrew and Samantha; and many friends and neighbors.
A Memorial will be held on Friday, August 29 th from 5:00 to 8:00pm at Norman Dean Home for Services in Denville. Services were arranged by Codey & Mackey Funeral Home of Boonton. To share condolences or memories with the family, please visit CodeyMackeyFH.com.
