Karen Maher Obituary
45, lifelong Brighten Park resident, passed away unexpectedly August 29, 2023. Beloved daughter of Rita Maher (Johnson) and the late Donald Maher; devoted mother of James and Dillon Schramm; loving sister of Dale (Ashley) Maher, late Donald Maher, Monica (Robert) Shipyor, Susan (Raymond) Boyd, and Terrance Maher Sr.; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Karen loved watching a variety of movies on Netflix and Hulu. She enjoyed playing bingo with family and friends. Most of all Karen cherished her time with her service dog "Baby Girl!" She brought a lot of joy, peace, and comfort to Karen.
Services at McInerney Central Chapel, 4635 S. Wallace Street, Chicago, IL 60609 on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 3-8 pm. Funeral Service Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Casimir Cemetery.
