Thomas "Tommy" Joesph Lynch 61, lifelong Canaryville resident, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025. Beloved son of the late James H. Lynch and the late Anna Grace Lynch. Adored brother of Diane (Richard) Casillas and the late James (late Jane) Lynch. Cherished brotherly figure to Michelle, Anita, Richard, and Dawn. Tommy will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tommy was known for his driven and determined personality. Working for Sertoma for over 25+ years, he was always excited to go in. He would pick out his uniform and lay his clothes out every day before his shift, making sure everything was just right!
In his free time, Tommy loved coloring and watching WWE Wrestling. A few fan favorites of his were John Cena, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and Stone-Cold Steve Austin. He knew all their signature moves, so much so that he'd practice them on his nieces and nephews when playing with them!
Being in Canaryville his whole life, he enjoyed visiting The Flag's Club. You may have caught him there playing pool with all the guys, and most likely winning and beating them out of every round effortlessly. Tommy will be remembered for his kind soul and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him and never forgotten.
Visitation on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McInerney Central Chapel, 4635 S Wallace Street, Chicago, IL. Funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Chapel. Cremation has taken place in accordance with his wishes. Following his cremation, an inurnment will take place at St, Mary's Cemetery, in Evergreen Park, IL privately for his family at a later date.
