Karen Rae (Klemak) Mochal
Born 11-28-1951(age 73) passed away Sunday, September 14th, 2025 in her home in Williamsburg, Iowa
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Ruth Thompson and Russell Klemak. She is survived by a sister, Marsha Klemak-Meixsell of Arizona,her three sons:Jim (Connie) Mochal of Cedar Rapids, Jason (Nicole) Mochal of Williamsburg, Joe (Cathy) Mochal of Williamsburg, and her grandchildren: Lexi,George,Olivia,and Pierce.
Karen was raised in Arizona and spent her summers in the Tama-Toledo area with family. The greatest joy in her life was raising her children at Lake Iowa. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of others. This led her to pursue a degree in nursing where she cared for the elderly and infirm. After her career she moved to Williamsburg to be closer to her grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time. Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg is caring for Karen and her family.
