I worked with Karen at W.O.E. She was the kindest, most helpful secretary and friend a teacher could ask for. As she would say, she was special! My condolences to Arnold and her kids. You were all her world. So sorry I´ m out of town and can´t attend.

I worked with Karen at Avon Lower Elementary from 1980-1989. As a new Assistant Principal, then Principal, Karen helped me immensely. To say that Karen was caring and kind is an understatement. She was wonderful with children, parents, and staff alike...truly a blessing to us all. I want to extend my sincere condolences to Karen's family, but I know consolation comes in the form of their many wonderful memories of her.
