Karen L. Rogier, age 79 of Saint Louis, MO, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at de Greeff Hospice House in Saint Louis, MO.
She was born on Thursday, April 12, 1945, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Marcus and Clara (nee Giger) Rogier.
She grew up in St. Louis County and graduated from Normandy High School in 1963. Worked for the Department of Army Records Center for 25 years. Retired at age 51. She enjoyed music, art, needlework, gardening and walking.
Survivors include:
Cousins and Friends.
She was preceded in death by:
Father - Marcus M. Rogier
Mother - Clara M. (nee Giger) Rogier Jones
Step Father - Jesse Jones
and Good Friend - Michael Hill.
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Graveside Service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL, with Rev. William E. Kapp, Pastor, Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland, IL, officiating.
Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to "charity of the donor's choice".
