With great sadness we announce the passing of Karen J. Snearly.
Karen was born in Milwaukee to Mac and Gloria Snearly. Karen was raised in Muskego and graduated with honors from Muskego High School. She attended UW - Waukesha for two years, and went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and minor in psychology.
Karen worked for the Wisconsin State Patrol, as a Police Communication Operator for 36 years at the District 7, Spooner post. Karen loved her career and had many friends in the Spooner area. After retiring she split her time between Spooner and Muskego.
Later she moved back to Muskego to help care for her mom.
Karen loved cooking and baking. She often helped family and friends cook for gatherings. She loved to travel the USA and Europe, mostly with her mom. Karen enjoyed making jewelry gifts for family and friends. Reading was a big past time for Karen. She really enjoyed musicals and musical theater.
Karen is survived by her brother Keith Snearly and sister Gail Snearly-Bartlett. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Gloria and Mac Snearly. Also by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Montgomery-Snearly (Beth). She will be missed by many family and friends.
She's already missed by her pup, Teddy G.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May15, from 10:00 am to noon. When services will be held at Hartson's Funeral Home, 11111 W. Jamesville Road, Hales Corners. WI
