Karen R. Sparks, 77, passed away on August 18, 2024 after a long illness. She is now in God’s hands where she wants to be.
Karen was born June 30, 1947 in Vandalia, IL to Raymond and Maggie “Lee” Alexander. She was a graduate of North Kansas City High School. While in High School she met the love of her life Dale Sparks. They were married 57 years.
Being a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church was very important to Karen. She also loved seeing the children and the babies who came to the doctor’s office where she worked. Karen was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.
She is survived by her husband Dale, son Brian and his wife Kristi, Her grandson Tylar and his wife Olivia, niece Teresa, nephews Richard, Aaron, Jonathan, Dan, John and Paul and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Karen has requested that no services be held.
