Karen Ann Springstroh, 75, of Kimberly, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024.
Karen was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, on December 12, 1948, to Norbert and Lucille (Uhlenbrauck) Springstroh.
Karen loved traveling to Disney World and her favorite place to spend time was in Door County. She really enjoyed gardening, especially potted plants, but also took great pride in her roses.
She was a proud aunt and lovingly invested many hours attending activities that her nieces and nephews were involved in.
She worked for many years as a surgical technician, with Valley Orthopedic Clinic and later with Fox Valley Surgical Associates.
Karen is survived by her brother Keith Springstroh of Appleton, sisters Connie (Scott) Glasel of Appleton and Kathy McCabe of Neenah, nieces and nephews Dr. Tiffany (Daniel) Schraufnagel of Appleton, Christopher (Annie) Glasel of Waukesha, Shawn (Katie) Glasel of Neenah, Terri (Aaron) Stege of Appleton, Corrine McCabe of Neenah, several great nieces and nephews and best friends Ellen, Joan, Donna, Judy and Dr. Karen.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and many aunts and uncles.
Karen’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Oakridge Gardens for their care and friendship and Moments Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
Services for Karen will be held at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church on Monday, July 8, 2024, with visitation time from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
