Karen Denise White departed this life on January 28, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born to the late Ethel Lee White on August 18, 1963, in Richmond, Virginia. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents: Stephen and Thelma Johnson.
Karen leaves to cherish her celebration of life: her five children: Allen White, Allon White (LaTonya) Neja White, Destiny Koiner (Mykel) and Byron White; four sisters: Cheryl Mayo (Willford),Cherie Watts (Larry), Yvonne Hunter (Haywood), Yvette Harris; one brother: Harry White (IV) (Mariah) and brother cousin William Sublett; two aunts: Barbara Shepperson (Lin), Marsha Merriman; and twelve pieces of her heart, all her grandchildren. Many beloved nieces and nephews and other relatives. While her presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, 3:30PM, at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Richmond, VA 23220.
