Karen Williams, 70, of Waverly, Ohio passed away peacefully in her sleep at 1:50 a.m. Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Bristol Village Traditions, Waverly, Ohio.
Karen was born October 18, 1954, in Pike County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Bennie Edward Noel and Carri Mildred (Sherer) Noel. On October 17, 1979, she was united in marriage to Danny Williams, who survives.
She is also survived by her son, Travis (Kathy) Williams; and her daughter, Tashina Williams.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Mary Ann (Noel) Hiltebran and Lola Mae (Noel) Taylor.
She was a retired registered nurse and a proud graduate of Waverly High School, Class of 1972. She earned her LPN from Shawnee State University and later her RN through Hocking College. After her nursing career, she worked as a librarian at the Waverly Library, where she loved talking with everyone who came through the doors.
Memorial Services will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025 at Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
