Karen K. Zeisler 73 of Bainbridge passed from this life Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Carecore at Westmoreland. She was born Saturday, June 21, 1952, in Ross County, the daughter of the late Dwight “Peanut” and Virginia E. (Hixon) Penrod. She was also preceded in death by her husband Steve A. Zeisler; grandson Michael Anthony Austin and granddaughter Caitlin Austin.
She is survived by four children Breesha (Tim) Taylor, Wyatt (Lori) Kohl, Jake Kohl, and Joe (Tamra) Kohl; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; three brothers Rick Penrod and his wife Carrie (who was like a sister to Karen), Rocky Penrod, and David Penrod; and several friends.
Karen loved planting flowers and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge 1626 where she was a bartender for many years before her declining health.
Friends may visit with Karen’s family at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 11 am – 1 pm with a graveside service following at 1:30 pm in the Twin Township Cemetery with Rev. Rich Cottrill officiating.
