Karisa Rae Garabrandt age 33 of Byesville, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born in Massillon, Ohio on March 12, 1991. She is a daughter of Ronald R. Garabrandt Jr and Robin A. Wagner.
She attended First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach and was active in the Jr. ROTC. She enjoyed playing flag football and being coached by her dad. Karisa had worked in retail for Walmart in Cambridge and in North Carolina. She coached her son's soccer team at Meadowbrook and was active in the New Pointe Church in Cambridge. She enjoyed camping and jet skiing, enjoyed watching Disney movies, eating oreos, crafting, cooking and baking pies. She loved family events and get togethers and especially loved her sons.
Karisa is survived by: her mother Robin A. Wagner of Cambridge; her father Ronald R. Garabrandt Jr (& Cara) of Pataskala; her sons, Zachary S. Bird and Luke R. Bird; her siblings, Brittany A. (& Jamison) Taylor and Nicolas Garabrandt; her grandfather Ronald R. Garabrandt Sr.; her grandmother Carol Saksa; a niece Maeva G. Taylor; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Karisa is preceded in death by: her grandparents, Vicky Garabrandt and Robert R. and Margaret A. Wagner.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Unity Center at 130 N. 7th Street Cambridge, Ohio 43725. Pastor Evan Greathouse will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Karisa's online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com.
