Karl “Mike” Champagne, 85, a native of Taft, LA and a resident of Hahnville, LA, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft, LA.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda H. Champagne; sons, Todd Champagne (Tae), Troy Champagne (Nicole), Scott Champagne (Tracy) and Dean Champagne; grandchildren; Brittany, Brooke, Morgan, Emily and Annie; great grandchildren, Nova, Willow, Arlo, Graham and Graham.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Karl Champagne Jr. and Tony Champagne; daughter, Lin Ann Champagne; parents, Claireville and Ruth M. Champagne; and sisters, Janet Hildago and Sylvia Madere.
Mike was a former and past president of the St. Charles Parish School Board and a little league baseball coach.
