Karl J. Schmitt, Jr., passed away on January 15, 2024, in Port Jefferson, NY, at the age of 60. He was born on February 27, 1963 to loving parents Karl Sr. and Carol Schmitt.
After graduating high school, Karl pursued his passion for entrepreneurship and built a successful business from the ground up. Karl led a fulfilling life as the owner and operator of Phoenix Limousine in East Meadow, NY. He dedicated himself to providing exceptional transportation services and creating lasting memories for his clients. Karl's commitment to excellence in his career was admired by many.
Karl was not only an accomplished professional but also a true inspiration to those who knew him. Karl will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. His warm spirit and genuine kindness touched the lives of many. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and valued.
Karl cherished his relationships with family and friends. He leaves behind his partner, Ken Weinheim, who stood by him through thick and thin. Their story was one of unwavering support and companionship. Karl is also survived by his brother, Patrick Schmitt and sisters Carol (Ray) Dishana and Christina (Angelo) Dicaprio.
While Karl's presence may no longer be felt in our lives, his memory will forever live on within our hearts. We are grateful for the time we had with him and for the beautiful moments he created alongside us.
Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at Mangano Family Funeral Home Of Middle Island located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953, on Friday, January 19, 2024. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A prayer service will take place at the funeral home at 8:00 PM. Karl will be then be laid to rest in Catskill, NY at Saint Patrick's Cemetery.
Karl's remarkable journey has come to an end, but his legacy will remain eternal. May he find peace in the afterlife, knowing that he made a profound impact on the lives of those around him.
