Karlee Michelle Messer, 29, of Canyon, TX was taken too soon on September 23, 2022.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 3, 2022, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Steven Bostick officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Karlee was born August 18, 1993, in Amarillo, TX to Lance and Kristin Messer. Karlee was a well-known "hard-core kid" in the Amarillo area and loved to show support for local bands. She was a fun and dependable friend to have around, she was funny, loving, kind, and selfless. She was a friend to anyone in need, and a great protector for her sisters. Karlee loved her children and would have done anything in this world to make them happy. Karlee was a cosmetology graduate from Wade Gordon Academy and while Karlee might have been the messiest hairdresser ever, she was great at what she did; she was a one-of-a-kind artist.
In the fourth grade, Karlee wrote a poem that her school later published, and it read, "A gift isn't just a good gift, it's a gift that will last a lifetime, a friend." Karlee was indeed a gift to everyone around her. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Gunner Messer, and Gideon Sandoval; her mother, Kristin Messer; her father, Lance Messer, and bonus mom, Amanda; her grandparents, Doug and Karen Hubbard, and Jim and Marva Messer; her great-grandmother, Lois Ball; her sisters, Berkley Messer, and Jordin and her husband Michael Golden, and Kailey Corpman. her nieces, Kylie Messer, and Berkley's unborn Baby girl; along with many aunts, uncles, and double the number of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Pepaw Jim May; her Uncle Damon Messer; and Her Uncle Shane Colliflower. May they all rejoice together.
