Karlene Fleischer Obituary

She was born on October 23, 1923, in Louisville to the late Albert Stoll and Anna Fuchs Stoll. She was a homemaker until her children were raised and then began working as a secretary in the insurance industry for the old Mershon and Associates. She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church and a longtime volunteer at Senior Citizens East.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy N. Fleischer; daughter, Sandra McScherry; and son-in-law, James Bottoms.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Fleischer; daughter Carol Bottoms; grandson, Bradley Bottoms (Laura); granddaughter, Sandra Bottoms; and great grandson, Owen Bottoms.
Memorial visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home with a vigil service to begin at 3 p.m.
Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
Family requests that no flowers be sent, but that memorial gifts may be made to Dare to Care 5803 Fern Valley Rd, Louisville, KY 40228.
