Karoline Collins Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Marsh Funeral Chapel - Marlette on Jan. 9, 2026.
Karoline Collins, 66, of Kingston passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at United Hospice of Aspire.

Karoline was born on March 7, 1959 to the late Werner and Selma (Deeg) Schultz. She attended Deckerville High School, graduating with the class of 1977. Karoline joined the Army right out of high school and was one of the last WACS. She was a faithful member of the Good Shepherd Luthern Church in Cass City. Her Lutheran faith was very important to her as well as her German heritage. Karoline enjoyed knitting and sewing and in her early years she played the coronet. She made Easter and Christmas dresses for the girls when they were young. Karoline liked to color and she used all the different varieties of crayons. Growing brightly colored flowers also made her happy. Karoline walked to the beat of her own drum. She liked to pick on everyone. Karoline loved her family most of all. Just spending time with them made her happy. She will be sorely missed.

Karoline is survived by her children, Paul Collins, Laura Collins and Kate Collins; siblings, Ludwig Ted, Johann, Meta, Werner, Tiana and Selma; many nieces and nephews.
