Karoline "Koot" King Kirven, 56, died Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Born in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Harry "Larry" Lawrence Kirven, Sr. and Thelma King Kirven.
Miss Kirven retired from Dr. Michael Drakeford's office and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a brother, Harry "Lauren" L. Kirven and a nephew, Harry "Lake" Kirven, III.
Memorials may be made to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.

Lauren,
I was so sorry to hear about Karoline. The picture on this site is exactly how I remember her! I was just remembering the time we went to Holden Beach. What a fun trip!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you and all how loved Karoline.
