Karren Larraine Long, passed away December 29, 2025, at Falls Village Nursing facility in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Karren was born in Montgomery, West Virginia to the late Ralph D. Bowling and Dymple Jeanne Bowling (Woodrum).
She is survived and will be missed greatly by her children Tera Long and Trent Long; grandchildren Samantha Long and Jerry Weaverling; as well as great grandchildren Aubree, Mackenzie, Emory, and Caisen; her brother Richard Lee Bowling, wife Marilyn and son Dustin; cousins, Susan and John residing in West Virginia; step-siblings Kathy, Darryl, Dale, Karol, David, and Thomas, residing in Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.
Karren was a graduate of Ravenna High School class of 1965.
Karren will be remembered for her love of family as well as her love of modern dance. Tall and statuesque, Karren was a wonderful dancer for many years. Her favorite was “Clair de Lune”.
Her travels took her to the Grand Teton mountains in Wyoming where she shared many happy times.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be conducted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Foundation.
