Karrie Jo Auginaush, 62, of Nay Tah Waush, Minnesota, died on Monday, July 28, 2025, at her home in Nay Tah Waush, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Rice Lake Community Center in Rice Lake, Minnesota. A wake will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, at the Center and continue until the time of the services. Interment will be held at the Samuel Memorial Cemetery at Nay Tah Waush. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

Karrie Jo Auginash was born on September 8, 1962, in Bagley, Minnesota, to her loving parents George "Porgie" and Daisy (Byrd) Auginash. She spent most of her life in Nay Tah Waush, where she became a cherished member of her community.

Those who knew Karrie Jo will remember her as a kind and caring soul with a heart full of love for her family and friends. She was fiercely protective of those she held dear, always putting their well-being above her own. Her devotion to her loved ones was one of her most defining characteristics.

Karrie Jo found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved the excitement of visits to the casino, where she could unwind and enjoy herself. At home, you could often find her working on puzzles or challenging herself with Sudoku. She had a special talent for beadwork, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic spirit and attention to detail.

Above all, Karrie Jo treasured the time she spent visiting with family and friends, she made sure that everyone in her life felt valued and loved.

Karrie Jo is survived by her siblings– Laura (Jack) Thompson, George Jr. (Carolyn) Auginash, Sandy (Guy) Auginaush, Bruce Auginash, Mary Auginaush, Becky Auginash, Anthony (Holly) Auginaush; Special Friend – Bruce Turner; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; Grandchildren – Corey Jr, Tavian, Tarren, Hailey, Damani, Denali, Daycian, Daleah and Daisy.

Karrie Jo was preceded in death by her parents, children – Corey, Desirae, and Craig, brother – Kenny Auginaush Sr., nephews – Russell Auginaush, Derick Auginaush, Jared James "Bud" Auginaush, niece - Sara Auginaush; and all of her aunts
