Karter Mason Walker

Karter Mason Walker, a radiant soul who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him, left this world too soon on July 26, 2025. Born on December 28, 2021, in Columbia, South Carolina, Karter's brief time on Earth was filled with love, laughter, and moments to cherish forever.

From the very beginning, Karter was known for his beautiful hair and dazzling smile that could light up any room. He was incredibly loved by all who crossed his path and brought endless joy to his family. Those close to him treasured his unique personality; he had an endearing trait of not liking his hair to be touched, showcasing his playful nature. Karter found immense joy in simple pleasures, whether it was cuddling with loved ones or spending time outside, where he could explore the wonders of the world around him. He adored visits from family and friends, always ready to fill the room with laughter and warmth.

Karter especially cherished moments spent with his brothers, Kaison and Khyren. Together, they created bonds that will forever remain in the hearts of their family. A joyful spirit, he also loved to watch "Gracie's Corner," finding delight in the animated world that sparked his imagination.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his mother, Asia Walker, who dedicated herself to ensuring Karter felt the warmth of love every day. His cherished brothers, Kaison and Khyren, will carry their brother’s joyous spirit with them for the rest of their lives. Surrounding Karter with affection were his grandmother, Madonna Walker, Auntie Makayla Strobble, Auntie Amiya Walker, Uncle Jordan Young, Uncle Michael Walker, and Great Grandmother Lucille Walker.

Karter is survived by an abundance of love and remembrance, yet he is met at the gates of heaven by his beloved brother, Kai Walker, and his special friend, Mr. George Young. Together, they will watch over their family with love from above.

A visitation to honor and celebrate Karter's life will be held on July 31, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Raymer - Kepner in Huntersville, North Carolina. This will be a cherished opportunity to gather, share memories, and hold one another close in the spirit of love that Karter so beautifully embodied.

The family would like to extend an extra special and sincere thank you to the nurses at Maxim, the staff of Levine Children's Hospital, Hands of Hope Hospice, and Karter's best bud and night nurse, Aaron. 

Though Karter’s time was fleeting, his impact was profound, and he will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.
