Kase Michael Perdue
June 20, 2016 - January 27, 2026
Kase Michael Perdue passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 9, following a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Kase was born on June 20, 2016, to Jack and Paige (Clayton) Perdue. Wise beyond his years, Kase was an inquisitive child with a deep love for learning how things worked and how they could be built, improved, or reimagined. He loved to read and learn about science and engineering, animals of all kinds, and the wonders of space.
He also enjoyed video games, and his passion for building shone brightly in the incredible worlds he created in Minecraft alongside his friends and family.
After being diagnosed with what he affectionately called his "golf ball," Kase continued to thrive and rarely lost his spirit. Determined to experience as much life as possible, he did just that until the day he left, as he lovingly described it, "Earth side to be with Jesus' family."
Kase was the most kind-hearted, loving, and curious soul. He brought joy to all who knew him. He was the best son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, and he will be forever missed.
Until we meet again.
Kase is survived by his parents, Jack and Paige Perdue; his sister, Whitney; grandparents Troy and Cindi Clayton, and Julie Wier; his aunt and uncles, Garrett and Chelsey Kearney, and Grace and Austin Seyfert. He is also survived by his cousins, great-grandparents, great-aunts and uncles, and many more family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Kase was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mike Perdue; great-grandparents Dallas and Susy Clayton; great-great-grandmothers Donna Wier; and Mae Groshong.
Kase's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 7th from 11am-2pm, at the Cambridge Community Building. Beginning at 11 with a short sermon, immediately following please join us for a lunch of Kase's favorite foods.
Kase's wish was that no one wear black. Please honor him by wearing something that reminds you of him. Examples include Kase's Krew apparel, his favorite colors orange and red, SpongeBob, capybaras, Minecraft, or even a version of his favorite outfit, a onesie.
