Mr. Kasey Payne, 57 transitioned on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Baptist Health Conway. Kasey Allen Payne was born on March 29, 1966, in Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Ruth Helen Pearline Payne and Thomas C. Toney, Sr.
At an early age Kasey professed his life to Christ and joined the Greater Union Hill Baptist Church. Kasey received his GED and an associate degree from Petit Jean Vocational College and earned a certificate in carpentry. To know Kasey Payne was to love him. He was a strong, selfless being. He was nicknamed the "Wood "man, and so many others by his loved ones. His love for creating or fixing anything asked of him followed him all the way until he was called home to rest. His spirit shall remain, and he will be deeply missed by all his family members and most importantly his legacy as a helper, and giver, will always be cherished. Remember as you grieve, because his job was well done, with our lord he will be and in our hearts he will stay.
He is proceeded in death by his brother Bobby Payne, Sr. and Donnie Payne, Sr.
Kasey leaves to cherish his loving memories, his loving daughter, Makaila Dawn Payne and granddaughter, Zenoviah Nancy Pearl Laflora of Conway, Arkansas; brother Russell Toney Jr of Parsons, Tennessee; sister, Diana (Austin) Coates of Conway, Arkansas; special friend, Sharlene Rhoads and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives that played a big role in his life.
"'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.
