Kassandra Jones Obituary

Kassandra left her Earthly home to be welcomed to her heavenly home on September 24, 2025, in
Birmingham, AL.
As a young girl, she attended Alberta Shields School, and Carol W. Hayes High School in Birmingham, AL.
She went on to attend Alverson Draughon Business College, graduated with an Associate Degree in
Business.
Kassandra's spiritual sunrise in Christ was as a youth, under the late Dr. James S. Rivers, at New Bethel
Missionary Baptist Church in East Birmingham. Under his pastoral leadership, she served as the youth
Sunday School Superintendent and was also a member of the Usher Board.
Kassandra married Jerome Jones, and they were blessed with a son, Anthony.
She departed this Earth peacefully at Birmingham East Nursing and Rehab Facility.
She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Anthony (Chelsea) Jones, and granddaughter Rhys Z. Jones,
and a host of cousins, and other relatives.
