Kat S. Pietila

Kathryn Susan Pietila, age 58, of Macomb, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025. Born in Pontiac, Michigan on November 28, 1966.
Kathryn was the devoted wife of the late Vince Pietila and the beloved daughter of Heinrich and the late Susan H. Duda. She is survived by her loving brothers, Robert Duda and Michael Duda; adoring nieces, Rayann and Taylor; and treasured great nieces and nephews, Bentley, Joey, McKenzie, and Jaxson.
With a career as a dedicated loan officer, Kathryn was not only passionate about her work but also made a positive impact on those she served. Outside of work, Kathryn had a profound love for her dogs, and she found joy in the great outdoors, especially boating on the lake. Her vibrant personality shone through her affection for friends, her enthusiasm for fashion and flowers, and her yearly celebrations of Halloween, which she adored.
Kathryn's life was a testament to love, dedication, and joy, and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched. Her spirit will continue to live on through the cherished memories shared with her loved ones.
