I just learned of Katell's untimely passing. My deepest sympathies and thoughts go out to her family during this very rough time. Katell was indeed one of the most beautiful people I have ever known, both on the outside and the inside. I've known her for a few years and had some of my best conversations with her. I also was aware that her final months on this Earth were very rough. We all make mistakes, some worse than others, and in the end only GOD will judge us. The world truly lost a smart brave beautiful human being and my life will never be the same. Thank you for everything my newest Angel and God speed

I am so sorry to hear of Katel's passing and the and the many challenges she had to overcome. She was a special part of one of my all-time favorite classes I taught
Throughout my 28 year career. I can still clearly see her contagious smile as a 5th grader. I am proud to have known a fighter whowho boldly tried to protect others. I also remember her supportive parents well. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Kate Donahue
