Heart heavy, may your spirit soar my dearest friend, my hero, my rock..
You were wise and good. You were love when it mattered the most.
You were music and simple purest joys, unconditional love and fun.
And while my heart sinks and cries for losing you, it also soars for the privilege of having known you.
Your spirit is now a part of me too, and River's.
I feel you everywhere now.

I was blessed not only to meet her but experience her true motherly love as she invited us to stay at her house for a year. She didn´t have to do it, but she chose to. I am eternally grateful to her, as she shared her love and care. I guess Gad values hidden virtues. And this is the one. She wasn´t praised or appreciated. She bore this burden quietly and respectfully. I know we weren´t "a basket of fruit"but we did our best to let her feel our love and appreciation. I did feel her as my American mom. Because of her I have so many friends in the USA, she planted seeds to love music to be a family, and we were united as the Voices of the Valley

When I was in college, I´d take the train to visit the Unger family (Nancy was my cousin) for a week or two during the summer and got to know them pretty well. To carry on a family tradition, Kitty Ann was in my wedding back in 1964. Sadly, after that, I really never saw Kitty Ann, or anyone in the family, again.
My heart goes out to Marjory & Rob during this time of loss. May the love of family and friends help to bring you comfort and peace.
With love, Harriett (Susie) Rogers
