Katherine "Kacey" Criscenti

It is with great love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Katherine "Kacey" Criscenti, a cherished daughter, sister, and friend. On September 24, 2025, at the age of 52, Kacey left us far too soon, but not before leaving behind a lasting impact on all who knew her.

From the moment Kacey entered a room, her beautiful smile and joyful laugh would brighten the day. She was soft-spoken, kind, and patient, never quick to anger, always ready to listen, and endlessly selfless. Kacey's authenticity and genuine heart were rare gifts, and those fortunate enough to know her will never forget her warmth.

A true animal lover, Kacey adored cats with her entire being. She volunteered at rescue shelters, supported organizations dedicated to their care, and found happiness in every feline friend she met. Her compassion extended to all living things, and Kacey lived out her values with passion as a proud vegan.

Kacey embraced life fully. She found joy in daily yoga practice, long walks, and reading books of all kinds. She loved and looked forward to bowling with her coworkers every Tuesday. Kacey loved meeting new people, learning new perspectives, and dreamed of traveling the world. Kacey appreciated life's beauty in both big adventures and simple moments.

Kacey's family was her anchor. She spoke of them often, loved them deeply, and took special care of her parents. Kacey had a gift for remembering even the smallest details about others, making everyone she encountered feel valued and seen.

She was beautiful inside and out and recently developed a newfound love for shopping. But Kacey's true beauty radiated from within-a soul filled with love, enthusiasm, and intelligence.

There will never be another like Kacey. She lived authentically, loved endlessly, and left a legacy of kindness, compassion, and light. Kacey's presence will be dearly missed, but the love she gave so freely will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

A Celebration of Kacey's Life will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 11:00am – 3:00pm at the Somerset Inn Banquet Hall, 2601 W Big Beaver Rd, Troy, Michigan 48084.
