Katherine Ditsious

Katherine Johnson Ditsious, 93, of Erie and formerly of Bradford, passed away Tuesday October 7, 2025. She was born in Bradford on September 2, 1932 a daughter of the late John and Marika Papakostandino Johnson.

Katherine graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1952 and Marjorie Webster Junior College. She worked at Uni-Mart in Bradford for a number of years. She was a member of the Siatistia Association USA and enjoyed sewing and knitting. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her entire family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Ditsious, and three brothers, Mark, James, and Larry Johnson.

Survivors include her three sons, Constantine John "CJ" Ditsious, Mark A. Ditsious (Mollie), and Stephen P. Ditsious (Jaenell); four grandchildren, Abbagale (Tim) Naugher, George, Hannah, and Madeline; two great grandchildren, Finley and Goldie; and many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.

Friends are invited to call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday October 17th from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service there at 11 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in McKean Memorial Park in Bradford, PA.
