Kathy was born on August 14, 1964 in Cushing, OK. She retired from Southwest Airlines after 19 years 1996-2015 as a Reservation Agent, and went on to work part-time at Zales jewelry store in Pier Park.
Kathy loved the beach and loved all beings, especially dogs. She enjoyed cruising on Front Beach Road in her Jeep, with her dog, Peggy, by her side.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Crowder; mother, Retha White; and brother, Charles Crowder.
Left to treasure Kathy's memory is her husband of eight years, Shahram Hafezi; sons, Benjamin Henry and his wife Katie Henry and Jamey (Robert James) Henry; step-son David Hafezi and step-daughter Abigail Hafezi; stepmother, Glenda Crowder; stepbrothers, Johnny and Steven; and stepsister, Deanna.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Laguna Beach, with Nelda Fields officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathy's name to Alaqua Animal Refuge.

Kathy was the sister I never had. My very best friend for over thirty years. The mother of the most amazing young man.
