Katherine Halbert

Born in March 1965 in Hawaii, Katherine was destined for greatness. She was deeply loved everywhere she went, and through every trial and tribulation, she rose with strength, grace, and compassion. After the tragic loss of her son, she founded Bear4Life and later became a chaplain in Grants Pass, Oregon, dedicating her life to helping those struggling with mental health and emotional hardship. She touched countless lives and saved many through her unwavering kindness and empathy.

Katherine was truly a mother to everyone - offering comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love. Though her life was far too short, it was beautifully lived. She is now reunited with her son and her husband, and lovingly remembered by her daughter, son-in-law, and three cherished grandchildren.
