Katherine "Kathy" Louise Hebb, 77, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, in Fall River, Kansas. Kathy was born on June 19, 1948, in Neodesha, Kansas, the daughter of Donald Barker and Pearl (Ferguson) Barker.
Kathy graduated from Fredonia High School in 1966, and her caring nature was evident throughout her life. She had a particular enjoyment in feeding and watering hummingbirds, which showcased her nurturing spirit. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), dedicating her life to caring for others and showing immense love for her family.
On December 18, 1975, in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Donald Hebb.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Donald Hebb, of the home. She leaves behind her cherished children: Shelly (Greg) Dalton, who enjoyed time with their children Hannah (Greg) Osborn, and Thomas Dalton; Jason (Melissa) Hebb, who shared countless moments with their children Jalob (Faith) Cockrum, and a baby to be Cockrum; Justin (Amy) Hebb, who created memories with their children Bryar (MacKenzie) great grandson Bronx Levi and Grant Hebb; and Jarred (Amanda) Hebb, who spent life with their children Kolby and Korbin. Siblings Donald (Sue) Barker, and Clarence (Cathy) Barker also survive as well as many nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Barker and Pearl (Ferguson) Barker, who surely welcomed her with open arms.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Wickham Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service 510 North 7th, Fredonia, Kansas, on Thursday August 14, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM and concluding at 3:00 PM. Katherine's kindness, devotion, and the joy she brought to her family and friends will not be forgotten.
Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Flag Fund and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
