Katherine Faith "Kathy" Jones

Katherine "Kathy" Jones Obituary Katherine "Kathy" Faith Jones of Winona Lake, Indiana passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the age of age of 77.
She was born in Escondido, California in 1948 to Neil and Hanni Norris. She was the second of five girls and was known for her lively spirit. Kathy attended Prairie High School and Washington Bible College before marrying Albert Duane Jones in 1971. Kathy and Duane had many adventures together, most notably being parents to their two children, David and Deborah. Kathy was a homemaker and church planter along with Duane for many years before returning to her career as an executive administrative assistant. Kathy loved her family above everything, delighting in being a mother and grandmother. She loved color, art, nature, and music. Many of her happiest hours were at her piano, playing with passion and worshipping her Lord.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Neil, her mother, Hanni, and her husband of fifty-two years, Duane. She is survived by her children, David and Kristin Jones of Winona Lake, Indiana, and Deborah and Nate Dunlevy of Indianapolis, Indiana; her grandchildren, Katie, Josh, Ellie, Scott, and Luz; and her sisters Ruth Abbott, Judy (Randy) Harmon, Mary Lou Norris, and Virginia (Les) Schlect.
Kathy's life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Grace Village Retirement Community in The Chapel, 337 Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake, Indiana. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 1 – 2 pm. Burial will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
