Katherine Francis Stapleton

Katherine Francis Stapleton passed away on March 10, 2026. Her spirit of generosity will live on. Kathy grew up in Richmond, where she cultivated a heart of compassion. She attended Richmond High School before earning her degree in Licensed Practical Nursing, dedicating her time to care for others. Kathy was a faithful member of Richmond Baptist Church where she enthusiastically volunteered her time. Kathy loved crafting meaningful gifts and helping others.. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Faye Stapleton. She is survived by her sisters Linda ( Kevin ), Bea ( Jeff ) and one brother Dan ( Gia ). Her nephews Ty, Brandt ( Sydney ) , Zack and Alex. One niece Breanne ( Kyle ) and 3 great nieces, Olive, Ellie and Tessa. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Doan and Mills Funeral Home.
