Katherine Stevenson Obituary
Katherine Elizabeth Johnson Stevenson, 67, of Thomasville, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2025, at North Pointe at Archdale.
Born August 4, 1957, in Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Carlis R. Johnson and the late Joan Bowers Johnson. Katherine worked as a travel agent and was a member of Gospel Baptist Church. She loved her church, serving the Lord, and was involved most of her life in music ministry. Katherine also loved her dogs, they gave her so much love and enjoyment.
She is survived by her husband, Roger L. Stevenson; stepdaughters, Ashley Filardi (Mark) of Harrisburg, NC, and Lauren Stevenson of High Point; and brother, Terry Johnson (Clarice) of Asheboro.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Gospel Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Hill and Rev. Rodney Hedrick officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
