Katherine Nicholas Zigler

Dr. Katherine Nicholas Zigler of Boise passed away on October 18, 2024, in Boise. She was 69 years old.
Katherine was born in Berlin, Germany on June 14, 1955. The daughter of a U.S. Army surgeon, she spent her childhood years in Texas, Colorado, Okinawa, and Georgia. This awakened her lifelong love of travel. Having deep ties to nature, Katherine loved exploring new places and new cultures.
In 1977, Katherine obtained a bachelor's degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She worked as a copywriter in Denver, Manhattan, California, and New Jersey, with temporary secretary jobs in between.
In 1985 she married Robert Zigler. Four years later, both graduated with highest honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. The couple then moved to Boise and founded their clinic--Health Dynamics Chiropractic--where they would serve their community for over 30 years.
Katherine's favorite vacation spots were Tahiti, Switzerland, British Columbia, the Oregon Coast and the Canadian Rockies. Drawn to oceans, rivers, and mountains, she loved camping, hiking, bicycling, snorkeling, and kayaking with her husband. She adored dogs and frequently paused to play with them. She really enjoyed 'dog beach' at Redfish Lake and referred to this oasis as 'Club Med for dogs!'
Katherine is survived by her husband, Robert, two of her three siblings, and her cousins, nieces, and nephews.
