Katheryn Anne "Kathy" Russell
November 14, 1944 - October 5, 2024
Kathryn Anne (Kathy) Russell, Monroe, MI, November 14, 1944 - October 5, 2024. Kathy was the daughter of Harry H. and Marjorie (Fitzpatrick) Russell, JR. of Clyde Ohio. She graduated from Clyde High School in 1963, having participated in the band, particularly in the drum ensemble. After her mother's death, Kathy managed the household for her father, until his death.
Kathy moved to Fairview County Home in Monroe in 1996 where she was loved and cared for. She was a valued volunteer at the Monroe Senior Citizen Center. She looked forward to attending the Monroe County Fair every year, and used her wonderful imagination in story writing and pencil drawing.
With declining health, last spring, Kathy moved to Seacrest Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Monroe, where she received wonderful care.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, her Aunt Maxine (Russell) Stull, and her beloved dog "Cuddles". She is fondly remembered by her cousins.
Arrangements made by Rupp Funeral home in Monroe, committal services will occur at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde Ohio. Date to be determined.
Donations, in Kathy's name, can be made to Humane Society of Huron Valley, 3100 Cherry Hill Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
