Kathi Adams Obituary
Born in Tunkhannock, PA on February 24, 1967, she was the daughter of Beulah Ellis Decker and the late Tracey H. Decker (d. Nov. 6, 2011). Growing up in Susquehanna County, Kathi attended Elk Lake High School and graduated with the class of 1985.
Kathi was employed as a bartender and waitress serving her community food and drink in several establishments around the area, but mostly at the Hayloft, where her friendly face and warm demeanor greeted customers for over 18 years.
When she wasn't working, Kathi enjoyed tending to the landscaping around her home and spending cherished time with her dogs and, most of all, her grandchildren.
Along with her mother Kathi is survived by her husband, Karl Adams, Sr. of Laceyville, PA; her children, Amanda Cona (Nick) of Dimock, PA and Randi Herman (Danielle) of FL; her step-children, Mindy Adams of Laceyville, PA and Karl Adams, Jr. (Jess Thomas) of Mehoopany, PA; her grandchildren, Christopher and Ivy Cona; her step-grandchildren, Stormy Jay, Angel Adams, Zachary Yurgatis, Kinsey Adams, and Karsten Adams. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Latisha, Patricia, Kenny, Bethany, and Sheila; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry Adams of Laceyville, PA, James Adams of the Philippines, Bill Adams of Laceyville, PA, Debbie Garinger of Sugar Run, PA, and Kris Adams of Laceyville, PA.
In addition to her father, Kathi is preceded in death by her sister Kandi Kelley (d. Aug. 30, 2025).
A Celebration of Life for Kathi will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sheldon Funeral Homes in Laceyville, PA 459 Main St Laceyville, PA, 18623, with Celebrant Bunky LeVance officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
