Kathi Lynn Wisehart, 69, of Shirley, Indiana passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Kathi was born on June 26th, 1955 in Elwood, Indiana the daughter of the late Larry and Barbara (Cline) Hoover. She retired from an extensive nursing career of 45 plus years as an LPN. She was a member of the Shirley Christian Church, where she was very active and loved spreading the word of God. Her greatest enjoyment came from being outdoors, whether it was working in her yard or being in her pool, as well as being with her grandchildren.
Family surviving include her husband, Dale Wisehart of Shirley; daughter, Melisa (Rob) Chandler of Fort Myers; son, Jeremy (Amber) Wisehart of Shirley; stepchildren, Rodney (Amy) Wisehart of Shirley, and Tammy (Charlie) Woods of New Castle; six grandchildren, Aron (Jessica) Chandler, Kash Wisehart, Alaina Wisehart, Kristina Woods, Cory (Shelby) Wisehart; four great grandchildren, Kolbi and Kolt Chandler, Logan (Taylan) Chandler, Hudson and Baron Wisehart; brother, Mark (Donna)Hoover of Alexandria and one nephew.
Kathi will be deeply missed until we see her again in Heaven.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shirley Christian Church in Shirley with Dr Susan McBride officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 4-7 PM at Bozell Funeral Home Condo Chapel in Wilkinson.
