Paul Junior Jones, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 9, 2025. He was the oldest child of Paul and Mary (Walker) Jones, born August 22, 1936.
He married Lillian Francis Conley on March 8, 1959. Paul and Lillian resided in Pendleton, Indiana all their married life until they transitioned to a nursing home. To this union two sons survive, Jeff (Cathy) Jones and Jay (Stephanie) Jones of Pendleton.
Paul was a graduate of Eden High School in 1954 where he played basketball. He was a member of 4-H and showed cattle and Berkshire pigs. He retired from Delco Remy, Union #662, he loved spending time with family, NASCAR , and raising cattle and hay on his farm until his health prevailed.
Four grandchildren survive him, Jeffrey (Michelle) Jones, Aaron Jones, Jessica (Daniel) Sparks and Emily (Aaron) Young; two great grandchildren, Conner and Easton Jones; sister, Susan Hine of Michigan; brother, Jerry Jones of Pendleton and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Jones; sister, Marjorie Beyers and brother, Darrell Jay Jones.
Funeral service will he held Monday, August 18, 2025 at Bozell Funeral Home- Condo Chapel, Wilkinson, Indiana at 1:00 P.M with Pastor Gary Cable officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will take place in Mendon Cemetery, Pendleton, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hancock County Pork Producers, Purdue Extension Office 972 E. Park Ave. Greenfield, Indiana 46140.
