Kathie Howe Obituary
Born on June 12, 1942 in Spencer, Iowa, Katie was the daughter of Emery and Bette Johnson. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1960 and dedicated herself to a life of hard work and care for others. Katie retired from CitiBank after more than 20 years of service.
Katie is lovingly remembered by her children, Molly (Todd) Cogley of Sioux Falls and Jeff Bramley of Chancellor; siblings, Tim Johnson of Bryan, Texas and Lisa (Kevan) Kaiser of Hartley, Iowa; her grandchildren, Ryan (Stephanie) Cogley of Sioux Falls, Jennifer (Skyler) Sutten of Madison, Rick (Andrea) Haertel Jr. of Sioux Falls, Nicole Haertel of Katy, Texas, Madeline (Briney) Jacobs of Ames, Iowa, and Emily (Briney) Miller of Apple Valley, Minnesota; and her great-grandchildren Lane Cogley, Ritter Sutten, and Wesley Tonjes.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Sherry Briney and Shelly Howe; her grandson, Corey Briney; her brother, Emery Johnson Jr; and her parents, Emery and Bette Johnson.
Private services will be held.
