Kathie Rideout Obituary
Kathie Ann Rideout, age 74, of Ostrander, Ohio passed away on August 24, 2025. Kathie was born on August 5, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Orville and Mary Heischman.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Rideout, brother, Frank Heischman, and granddaughter, Lilly.
She is lovingly survived by her sons, John (Angel) Rideout, Steven (Denise) Rideout, grandchildren, Andy, Katie (Derek), Cameron, Addison, Emily, brother, Paul (Nancy) Heischman, nieces, April, Erin (Brandon), and very special dog, Abby.
Kathie was an avid Longaberger, Barbie, and Coca-Cola collector. She was a great cook. She loved Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Easter. She loved spending time with her grandchildren when they had special birthday dates and other quality time. She enjoyed camping and traveling with friends and family. She spent her younger years as a realtor and homemaker. Kathie spent her later years working with MRDD adults and eventually retired from Sutphen.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123 for visiting hours from 4pm - 6pm.
She will be deeply missed.
