Kathie L. Wylie, a dedicated wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and adored great-grandmother, passed away on April 9,2024. She was born on April 7, 1962, to Carl and Maxine Hashman in Columbus Ohio. Kathie always enjoyed the picturesque landscape of watching the sun set. Kathie's kind and nurturing nature endeared her to all who knew her. Her life was a testament to selflessness and love for her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Maxine Hashman, and her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Carroll. In the hearts of those whom she loved dearly, she is survived by her beloved husband Kenneth "Ken" Wylie, children Kenny Wylie, Ashley "Rachel" Poe, and Jason Laster. Kathie's presence will forever be missed by her grandchildren, Katie Carroll – who was raised by her grandparents Ken and Kathie with abundant love and care along with her other grand-children, Ronnie, Angel, Jeremy, Christian, Aubrey, Peyton, Zoey and Xavier; great-grandchildren, Madison, Preston, Gracie, Ellie, Arayah and Crimson, sister, Jane Barido, brothers, Steve, Ronnie, Mike, and Rusty Hashman also, several nieces and nephews. Kathie's legacy of compassion, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Family will receive friends on Monday, April 15, 2024, beginning at 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Timothy Lee officiating at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High Street, Columbus, OH 43207.
