She dedicated 30 years to the Vancouver School District, where she held various administrative positions, significantly impacting many young lives through her commitment to helping others.
Beyond her professional life, Kathy was an avid hiker, kayaker and actively pursued her spiritual growth. Her love for the outdoors and personal development were sources of great happiness and fulfillment in her life.
Kathy leaves behind her husband, William Anderson, and her children, Gary and Michelle and two grandchildren Amanda and Harland. She is also survived by her siblings, Steve, Linda, Mary, and David. Her presence will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on November 15th at 10 am. Those wishing to honor Kathy's memory can send flowers to Evergreen Memorial Gardens on November 14th.
Kathy's life was marked by her love for her community, her passion for education, and her unwavering kindness. She will be remembered as a beacon of light and warmth to all who had the privilege to know her.
