Kathleen Brady Andria passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024. She went to be with her Heavenly Father. She spent her last few days surrounded by family.
Kathleen was born on September 27th, 1940 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Martin E. Brady and Kathryn (Rice) Brady. She grew up in Saint Louis and Ferguson, Missouri and was proud of her Irish heritage. She was blessed with 5 children: Frances Andria, Patricia (Andria) Coffman, Kathleen (Andria) Despoth, Bridget (Andria) Witzeman, and Daniel Andria.
In her youth, Kathleen graduated high school from Visitation Academy in Saint Louis, Missouri and continued her education at Fontbonne College and Saint Louis University where she earned a master's degree in Mathematics. She was active in sports, participating in basketball, swimming, and horseback riding. She was a teaching assistant at Saint Louis University and a substitute teacher at Revere High School in Richfield, Ohio. Later, she was a mathematics teacher at Our Lady of the Elms High School in Akron, Ohio, Interval Brotherhood Home in Akron, Ohio, Saint Vincent-Saint Mary's High School in Akron, Ohio and Holy Name High School in Parma, Ohio.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Martin E. Brady and Kathryn (Rice) Brady; as well as her son-in-law, David Coffman. She is survived by her children: Frances (Jeff) Andria, Patricia Coffman, Kathleen (Ed) Despoth, Bridget Witzeman, and Daniel (Jen) Andria; her sister, Jeanine (Jerry) Bentrup; her grandchildren, Mark (Emily) Despoth, Matt (Veronica) Despoth, Kelly (Paul) Kreulen, Katrien (Paris) Andria-Habermann, Charlie Kreulen, Dave Coffman Jr., Sarah Coffman, Sydney Coffman, Alex Coffman, Zack Kreulen, Josh Witzeman, Meg Witzeman, Annie Witzeman, and Sophie Andria; and her great-grandchildren, James Despoth, Lily Despoth, Bronwyn Despoth, and Wells Despoth.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated 1:30 P.M. MONDAY December 23, 2024 at St. Hilary Church, 2750 West Market Street, Fairlawn OH 44333. Additional services and interment will be held in Saint Louis, MO in the spring of 2025.
