Kathy was such a sweet mama on our street growing up. I appreciate the hospitality and for having her son Ryan as a close friend as a kid. I loved growing up around the parents as we always had block parties/house parties and the kids would be running around having fun. Wonderful memories always. I send my deepest sympathies to the family. With love from Texas, Melanie (Letot) Allison

Fondly recalling Texas memories of annual block parties and our kids performing weekend concerts for the neighborhood. We were quite the group - the block that rocked! Rest in Peace sweet friend

My first memory of her was from Valentine´s Day 1974. I was friends with her best friend but I barely knew Kathy. I was not in her class but she brought me a homemade Valentine card - a red paper heart trimmed in lace ribbon. She knew even at ten years old, how a simple act of kindness could make someone´s day. She became my forever best friend. There are no words to express my sorrow nor time to tell all the memories I have with her. Rest in peace my friend. I´ll always love you.
