Kathleen Marie Dickensheets, born in Columbus, Ohio, on June 27, 1949 died on December, 19, 2025 at Mount Carmel East Hospital.

She is survived by David A. Dickensheets (54, son), Brian M. Dickensheets (47, son), Morgan E. Dickensheets (24, granddaughter), Meagan E. Carnell (24, granddaughter), Sarah C. Dickensheets (22, granddaughter), Laruen M. Dickensheets (17, granddaughter), Cheryl A. Rogers (70, sister) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by David H. Dickensheets, (husband), Clarence E. Hughes, (father), Theresa R. Hughes, (Winetraut, mother), Clarence E. Hughes, (brother), John A. Hughes, (brother) and Annette Dicoco (sister).

She was a graduate from Groveport High School and an avid member of Obetz United Methodist Church and Women's Group. She worked a number of years as a professional wallpaper hanger. She was a kindhearted woman who found joy in the simple things in life such as her many crafts, birds, and all her beloved pets. She was always ready to help those in need, be it strangers or family. She was a devoted Wife, Sister, Mother, and Grandmother.

Funeral and Memorial services will be held at Obetz United Methodist Church, 1781 Obetz Avenue, Obetz, Ohio 43207 on January 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM. RSVP to Brian Dickensheets at (614)-827-5282, with a light luncheon for family and friends. Internment will be at Obetz Cemetery ASSM at a later date with a private ceremony for immediate family.
